When and why did you start training for fighting? It’s a family business... I started when I was five.
What ranks and titles have you held? National Jiu-Jitsu champion 93 94 , state champion 8 years in a row, 2x Abu Dhabi champion, World Combat Championship champion, MARS challenge champion against Oleg Taktarov, beat four UFC champions.
Do you have any heroes? My father, Robson Gracie, and my uncle, Rolls Gracie
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The UFC is the real proving ground... you succeed there you succeed anywhere...like Frank Sinatra's old song.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I earned a degree in fighting for my life 101.
What was your job before you started fighting? This has been my only job...
