In the main event, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm faces rising star Valentina Shevchenko, and in the co-featured bout, light heavyweight contenders Anthony "Rumble" Johnson and Glover Teixeira collide.
Mississippi's Knight has won eight of his last nine bouts, finishing six of those victories. In Alers, he faces a grappling specialist who is 1-1 with 1 NC in his UFC career thus far.
