Chad Mendes made a huge statement with his first-round finish against Ricardo Lamas in the main event of Fight Night Fairfax. Mendes was awarded for his effort with a $50k bonus.
The other three performance bonus winners were Julianna Pena, Dustin Poirier, and Timothy Johnson. All four fighters earn a $50k bonus for their finishes.
UFC Director of PR Dave Lockett was joined at the post fight press conference by six fighters: Mendes, Al Iaquinta, Pena, Poirier, Clay Guida, and Michael Chiesa.
The announced attendance was 5,417 for a gate of $545,604.
