Invicta FC 14 Gets New Headliner, Full Card Announced

INVICTA FC announces 10-fight card for FIGHT PASS, September 12

Invicta Fighting Championships today announced the full 10-fight card for Invicta FC 14, which streams live and exclusively via UFCFIGHTPASS.com from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Recently crowned Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion Tonya "Triple Threat" Evinger (16-5) will defend her title against undefeated 23-year-old challenger Pannie "Sexy Scramble" Kianzad (8-0) of Sweden.

The previously announced strawweight title fight between champion Livia Renata Souza and No. 1 contender Alexa Grasso has been postponed after Grasso sustained an injury that limited her ability to train and prepare for the September bout.

Undefeated under the Invicta FC banner at 4-0 and riding a seven-fight win streak overall, Evinger captured the bantamweight belt with a fourth-round TKO of Irene Aldana at Invicta FC 13. Kianzad, the Cage Warriors champion at bantamweight, made her Invicta FC debut at the same July event, earning a unanimous decision over fellow prospect Jessica-Rose Clark.

Former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion Katja "Killer Bunny" Kankaanpaa (10-2-1) looks to rebound in the co-main event against unbeaten DeAnna "The Argentine Assassin" Bennett (7-0), coming off a victory in her strawweight debut.
