Jones-Lybarger Faces Torres at UFC 194

With Michelle Waterson forced out of her UFC 194 bout against unbeaten strawweight contender Tecia Torres due to injury, Arizona standout Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger has received the call for the December 12 bout in Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, and she is ready to battle the "Tiny Tornado."

“I think it’s going to be a great fight and a stand-up battle for sure,” Jones-Lybarger said. “I’m excited to make my UFC debut against somebody like her. I have a lot of respect for her in and out of the cage.”

An athlete her entire life, Octagon newcomer Jones-Lybarger (6-1) is a well-rounded competitor who can handle herself wherever the fight goes, and the MMA Lab team member brings a four-fight winning streak to Las Vegas, with her most recent victory a unanimous decision over Zoila Frausto in October.

Ranked fifth in the world at 115 pounds, Torres has won all six of her pro bouts, with Rose Namajunas, Paige VanZant and Angela Hill among the American Top Team member's victims.
