Toronto, Canada – The exciting conclusion of The Ultimate Fighter® Nations: Canada vs. Australia presented by Xbox One takes place Wednesday, April 16 at Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City. The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale crowns a welterweight and middleweight winner, live on Sportsnet 360 and TVA Sports in Canada, FOX Sports 1 in the US and FUEL TV in Australia. Both The Ultimate Fighter winners will receive a six-figure contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®).

In the main event, The Ultimate Fighter season 3 winner Michael Bisping meets American Tim Kennedy in a pivotal middleweight battle. The No. 5-ranked Bisping (25-5, fighting out of Manchester, England) comes back after almost a year outside the OctagonTM following a career-threatening eye injury, while the No. 9-ranked Kennedy (17-4, fighting out of Austin, Texas) looks to improve upon his 2-0 UFC record that saw him most recently knock out Rafael Natal in spectacular fashion in November 2013.

Also on the main card, series veterans and rival coaches Patrick Côté (20-8, fighting out of Rimouski, Quebec) and Kyle Noke (20-6-1, fighting out of Dubbo, New South Wales) meet in the co-main event while the opponents for the welterweight and middleweight TUF Nations crowns will be revealed in the season’s final episodes.

Other announced fights on the Finale card include Mark Bocek (11-5, fighting out of Toronto) vs. Evan Dunham (14-5, fighting out of Eugene, Oregon) in a lightweight match. Veteran Sam Stout (21-9-1, fighting out of London, Ontario) faces lightweight KJ Noons (11-6, fighting out of San Diego, California). Mitch Gagnon (10-2, fighting out of Sudbury, Ontario) squares off against bantamweight Tim Gorman (8-2, fighting out of Des Moines, Iowa). No. 6-ranked bantamweight Sarah Kaufman (16-2, 1 NC, fighting out of Victoria) faces TUF 18 alum Shayna Baszler (15-8, fighting out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota). Light heavyweight Ryan Jimmo (18-3, fighting out of Edmonton) meets UFC newcomer Steve Bossé (10-1, fighting out of Montreal) in an all-Canadian match up, while George Roop (14-11-1, fighting out of Tucson, Arizona) faces bantamweight Dustin Kimura (12-1, fighting out of Honolulu). The full fight card will be announced Wednesday, April 9 after the last The Ultimate Fighter® Nations: Canada vs. Australia presented by Xbox One semifinal airs on Sportsnet 360, TVA Sports, FOX Sports 1 and FX.

Tickets for The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale go on sale Friday, February 28 at 10 a.m. EST through billetech.com and are priced $250, $150, $100, $75, $50 and $40 (not including applicable service charges). A special Internet ticket pre-sale will also be available to UFC newsletter subscribers on Thursday, February 27, starting at 10 a.m. EST.

Filmed just north of Montreal, The Ultimate Fighter® Nations: Canada vs. Australia presented by Xbox One was the UFC’s fifth international version of the reality series and the first produced in Canada. Eight Aussies made their way to the Great White North to live and train together with eight Canadians in the most challenging sports tournament on television.

The Ultimate Fighter, which debuted in 2005, has launched the careers of more than 100 UFC fighters including champions such as Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans and Matt Serra and season winners Michael Bisping, Ryan Bader and Nate Diaz.

The Quebec Finale is the first of five Canadian events on the UFC’s schedule in 2014 as the UFC is also set to visit Vancouver on June 14, Toronto on September 27, Halifax on October 4 and Montreal on December 6.
