When and why did you start training for fighting? I turned pro in 2015. For this fight, I was preparing for two months and was in several training camps, including ones in the mountains.

Do you have any heroes? My heroes are ordinary, good people helping everyone in need.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a great responsibility, an important stage in my career and life and a great chance to prove myself on a world level.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I am a teacher. I graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University. I also have a secondary musical education in vocals and piano.

What was your job before you started fighting? I have devoted all my life to sports and music
