When and why did you start training for fighting? 2005, I started with kickboxing, and a year later I started training in MMA. I love competition, individual sports, and testing myself against someone who wants to hurt you. I was 13 when I started training, and I haven't even had a year off. Sport is an important part of my life.

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? Amateur mma record 20-3, Two Polish amateur championships, four tournament wins in multi-fighters brackets.

Any belts/ranks in grappling disciplines? BJJ Black Belt since 2019, So far I have won over 50 Polish tournaments, but the five most important titles are, of course, in black belts:

• Polish Gi Championship 
• Polish No-Gi Championship 
• Polish Adcc pro 
• Ireland Adcc pro 
• European Championship CBJJ

Any belts/ranks in striking disciplines? No, I’m ground beast ;) I can't striking ;p 

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Ibjjf European Championship Black Belts (Madrid, Spain) Tournament Final vs Catriel Fernandes Rodrigues from Brazil. Before this fight, I was on a very long winning streak, and for a moment, I felt immortal. It was a mistake, because I lost the final by sub, and I realized that this defeat was more beneficial to me than the victory.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Jon Jones. UFC Mount Rushmore. An elite fighter who is one of the most versatile in the history of the sport. Jon is also a battle with his own demons. The entire world watched his subsequent falls, and he always came back. He has the mind of a champion, but many fans downplay his legacy due to his personal issues. Villians and superhero in one person. Real life Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. 

Did you go to college and if so, what degree did you earn? I graduated from the University of Gdańsk. I am a mechatronics engineer and have a master's degree in physical education.

What was your job before you started fighting? I've been fight since I was 13. Work has always been a sideline to sport :) I run my own gym and help out with my wife's events company. In the past, I've been a security guard, a professional driver, and a school teacher. :) During my studies, I worked various jobs to earn money for college.

Origin of nickname: My longtime manager came up with this nickname, and I liked it. I'm big, I like to dominate my opponents and finish fights quickly, like Godzilla finish city buildings and other monsters. It's also a play on words with my surname. I don't know if I resemble the giant reptile, but the Godzilla theme will also be used in my entrance song.

Personal Life / Background (family stuff, kids, etc.): Wife Justina, son Antoni. I'm the co-owner and founder of Dragon Den Grappler Ełk. The biggest MMA/BJJ gym in the Masurian region. We currently have over 400 members. My "students" compete in Polish championships, but also in professional fights where I am often part of the corner.

What are your hobbies, activities or other interests when not training for a fight? BJJ is my biggest hobby, next to MMA. I'm trying to raise my son to be a good and righteous person, and from an early age I've been teaching him that sport and training are important in life, because discipline teaches determination. Other hobbies? Cars, movies, console games, and emptying the fridge ;)
