  • Origin of nickname: “Like them, I come to conquer and take everything and then I come back to my place. There is a real story around my name and identity - my name was given to me by my father in honor of the famous pirate Henry Morgan, one of the most feared pirates in the Caribbean, a violent and unscrupulous man, Despite his cruelties, he obtained what he was looking for: he was knighted and appointed governor of Jamaica at the end of his life. So, like him, I'm just chasing my goal, whatever it takes.”

When and why did you start training for fighting? I’ve been doing martial arts forever. I started with Judo at seven years old, and since then, I’ve never stopped. I started MMA at 17 years old. I’m fighting because I love it - I resolve the problems that my opponent brings and letting my inner monster go out makes me feel alive. I love to feel the adrenaline and face my fears.

Training: 10am MMA training for two hours, then, depending on the day, it’s either strength & conditioning or specific skills training in the afternoon.

What ranks and titles have you held? I’ve been the featherweight Cage Warriors world champion

Do you have any heroes? My dad.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything. When I started MMA back in the day, it wasn’t even legal in my country. I had to push through a lot to earn my spot here, and now I’ll be able to show to the world that I’m one of the best and that everything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes. I have a bachelor’s degree in Sport and an associate degree in business Unit Management.

What was your job before fighting? None. I dropped everything at 20/21 to pursue a career in combat sports.

Ranks in any martial arts styles: Luta livre black belt, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt, Judo black belt

Favorite Grappling technique: Head & arm choke

Favorite striking technique: Leg kicks
