When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training in freestyle wrestling when I was 10 years old. Later, I transitioned to MMA because I really enjoyed the sport.
What does it mean for you to fight for the UFC? It has been my dream for as long as I can remember.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? I don’t have a favorite fighter or any idols.
Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? My family.
What are your current ranks in martial arts? Champion of Vendetta Fight Night.
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Two-time European Freestyle Wrestling Bronze Medalist and Vendetta Fight Night Champion.
What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career and why? The key fight in my career was my fourth fight, when I won the championship belt
Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to promote a healthy lifestyle and show people that any dream can become a reality.
Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you? My family motivates me.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes. I studied Physical Education and Sport, specializing in Pedagogy.

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I come from a simple family, and my parents have always supported me in everything I do. Recently, I started a family of my own with my wife, Valeria, who has supported me tremendously and continues to support me every day. Thanks to her, I had the opportunity to move from the region where I was born to the capital, Chișinău, and dedicate myself fully to MMA training. In my limited free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, reading, riding my motorcycle, and fishing.
