When and why did you start training for fighting? When I was a kid, I opened the door of the judo club when I was nine years old. My parents got divorced and I did not see any other choice who could show for me a better example like my coaches Tomas Putinauskas and Arturas Sakas
What professional titles have you held? MMA Bushido title
Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? Silver medalist in world combat sambo championship in Tashkent
Any belts/ ranks in grappling disciplines? Judo blue belt, European grappling champion
What has been your toughest fight to date and why? My first fight in TUF 32. I got knocked down, and stood up from there, got inspired on the inside and won that fight.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? Valentina Shevchenko, because she is a unique person
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I have a bachelor’s degree from Vytautas Magnus University. I’m a teacher
What was your job before you started fighting? I’m still working in the Lithuanian military and as a teacher
Personal Life/Background: Riding my motorbike, shooting guns, fishing, hiking in the mountains.
